Being Kind To The Planet Is Important To Burju

Today I want to talk to you about something we’re really passionate about here at Burju HQ. 

It’s something that’s so important, we just couldn’t keep quiet about it. 

And I believe it’s going to change the world. 

I’m talking about being kind to the planet. If you’re curious about how we go about this at Burju, I’m going to give you the 411 right here, AND at the end of the email I have something juicy for you.

1# We use minimal packaging

We use very minimal filling for our shoes so that we produce as little waste as possible. Our shipping boxes are as small as they can be, and we don’t add any extra paper or plastic filler that would usually end up in the garbage.

In addition to this we are super careful in the office and everything we use there is either kept to a minimum or recycled wherever possible. ​

2# Our shoes come in a shoe bag

Our shoes come in a beautiful shoe bag with the Burju brand name on it that you can use again and again to store and protect your shoes. Yess!

This avoids cardboard packaging which obviously saves trees and gives you something more sustainable for your money.

And customers adore having something to keep their beloved Burjus in or a cute tote to keep anything they like in for the future.

 

3# Using recyclable materials

We’re working on setting up the business to be even more environmentally conscious and this includes using more recycled materials wherever we can, including for the construction of the products themselves.

 

4# Our shoes come in vegan options

What exactly do I mean by vegan? Well, it means that our vegan shoes have been made without using animal products.

Beyonce, Ariana Grande, and Miley Cyrus are all vegan right now, and millions of people all over the world are following in their footsteps. 

We love the vegan lifestyle here at Burju is that it’s an amazing way to save the planet by cutting down on carbon emissions, saving rainforests and helping animal welfare. We’re making as many shoes as we can with vegan options so that all of our strong, smart and fierce customers can make better decisions for the planet.
