Below are the Terms and Conditions for purchasing at Burju Shoes. Please read through carefully as we provide many resources and answer commonly asked questions about how to order the correct size and fit.  Please make sure you read our Billing and Shipping proceedures, Return Policy and Product Guarantee. By completing your order you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and will be held by them. There are no exceptions for customers who fail to read and comply. If you have any questions or are unsure please contact us before placing your order.

 

Ordering Information

Q. How do I know what size to order?
A. For women order your true U.S. street shoe size. If you have a very narrow foot order half size smaller than your true U.S. street shoe size.  Keep in mind that the length will be a bit shorter but the width will also be narrower. For men order 1/2 size smaller. Never use dance shoes sizes from other companies. If you are not sure what your true size is please see the following Shoe Sizing Guide to measure your own feet and find your size.

Our dance shoes are in U.S. sizes. To find out the conversion from international sizes click on the appropriate link: Women's Size ChartMen's Size Chart.

Q. How do I know what heel height to order?
A. Our heels are measured from the outside or longer part of the heel. Some companies use another method so please do not confuse the heel size you might have from another company with the Burju Shoes heel sizes. See our Heel Chart for the options.

Q. How will I now if my shoe order has been submitted?
A. You will receive an email from us confirming your order. If for some reason you do not receive the email please send an email immediately to support@burjushoes.zendesk.com.

Q. Can I custom order dance shoes to meet my specific needs/wants?
A. Custom orders can be requested by sending and email to support@burjushoes.zendesk.com Your request will be reviewed and a representative will get back to you with more information and possibilities.

Q. What happens if what I want to order is not in stock?
A. If the item you want is not in stock you may still purchase it now and the item will be back ordered.  Back Orders may take 8-12 weeks to produce. Delivery times are not included. See shipping information below to find out about delivery times. Burju Shoes does NOT accept returns or exchanges on back orders so please be certain at time of purchase that you are willing to wait the maximum length of time for your order.  You will be charged at the time of your order and the shoes will be shipped when they arrive from our factory.

Q. Can I make changes or cancel an order that has already been submitted?
A. Yes if you contact us within 24 hours of submitting your order. Please email support@burjushoes.zendesk.com with "Cancel Order" or "Change Order" as the subject. After 24 hours you will have to wait until you receive your merchandise and then follow through with our return policy.

Q. When can I expect to receive my order?
A. If the item is in stock your order will be shipped out within 3-5 business days. If the item is on back order or you are placing a custom order then your order will be shipped out in 8-12 weeks. We use USPS as our standard shipping method to ship all over the world. Within the continental United States orders arrive in 5-7 business days. For Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Canada, orders take 7-10 business days. International orders will take 7-14 business days for your merchandise to arrive.

For international deliveries there may be holdups in customs that delay receipt of shoes, or you may be responsible to pay some taxes and duties on the goods. Burju Shoes is not responsible for any delays caused by a countries customs laws or any additional payments that need to be made in order to pick up the shoes. Q. Can I track the status of my order?
A. Yes. Just click on the Order Lookup button on the right side.

Q. How can I find a specific shoe I am looking for:
A. We have a search field at the top right hand corner of the page that allows you to find a shoe by item number or key word. You can do an advanced search by clicking on the "+" button.

 

Billing and Shipping

Q. What forms of payment can I use online?
A. We accept all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover using real-time credit card transaction using secure 128-bit SSL encryption. We also accept PayPal.

Q. What are the shipping options?
A. We use USPS Priority Mail for all orders domestic and international. Shipping charges are determined by the weight and destination of the package. Delivery is in 5-7 business days. For Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico delivery is in 7-10 business days. For all international orders delivery is in 7-14 business days.

Q. When is my order shipped?

Q. Does Burju Shoes ship to a foreign country?
A. Yes. Shipping charges are determined by the weight and destination of the package. For all international orders including Canada delivery time takes 7-14 business days. For international deliveries there may be holdups in customs that delay receipt of shoes, or you may be responsible to pay some taxes and duties on the goods. Burju Shoes is not responsible for any delays caused by a countries customs laws or any additional payments that need to be made in order to pick up the shoes.

Q. Will I have to pay any duties or taxes when shipping internationally?
A. Every country has a different system and set of rules for imported goods. Burju Shoes is not responsible for any duties and taxes that are incurred. It is the sole responsibility of the recipient of the merchandise. Burju Shoes is not responsible for the delay of shipping nor the loss of packages due to recipient’s negligence to pay required duties and taxes.

Q. Can I ship an order to multiple addresses?
A. Unfortunately not. We only except one shipping address per order.

 

Burju Shoes Product Guarantee

Q. What is the Warranty at Burju Shoes?
A. Burju Shoes guarantees all of its shoes or boots for up to 12 months from date of purchase against defective workmanship and/or materials when used under normal conditions for the purpose intended. For claims within the first 6 months, shoes or boots will either be repaired, replaced, or a full credit issued based upon the original purchase price toward a new pair of Burju Shoes. Shipping charges are not reimbursed. For claims made within the second 6 month period, a partial credit will be issued based upon the original purchase price and extent of wear toward the purchase of a new pair of Burju Shoes. Credits will not be considered if shoes or boots have been subjected to excessive or unusual wear (cuts, burns, scratches, wear and tear in material), mistreatment or poor fitting if soiled. Credits will not be issued on shoes that customer is just not satisfied with unless their is some visible defect. We make every attempt to fit shoes properly and find the right type of footwear for each individual. However, you the customer must make the final determination as to how a shoe fits. Returns and Exchanges

Q. What is the Return Policy at Burju Shoes?
A. We are happy to except returns of UNWORN/UNUSED merchandise that was ordered from our stock only. The request must be made to support@burjushoes.zendesk.com within 14 days of receipt of the merchandise. Please return the items in their original packaging which includes all shoe bags and the actual shipping box.  If actual box is no longer available or in good condition please use a suitable box that will safeguard the product from shipping damage.  Failure to do so will result in a $25 fee. Shipping charges are not refundable and you will have to pay all new shipping charges for the new item. When returning a shoe please enclose a check for $11.95 first pair plus $5 each additional (domestic) or $33.95 first pair plus $8 each additional (international) made paypable to HYM. If a check is not included we will contact you to make other arrangements to receive payment. Clearance items are final sales and may not be returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective.

Returns and exchanges take 10-15 business days to process.  We will email you to confirm that it is being processed and then send out your new item or issue you a credit.  It may take a few business days for any credits to show up on your credit card statement.

There are NO returns or exchanges on custom ordered or back ordered dance shoes so please be sure of your size, heel and color selections. See our sizing resources to make sure you are making the correct selections. Burju Shoes will not accept returns or exchanges on items custom ordered or back ordered in the wrong size or heel height. If you are unsure about your size and heel choices we recommend you order from our stock if you want the option to return or exchange in case of wrong sizing.

Burju Shoes purchases made from other dealers or stores must be returned to the location it was originally purchased and is subject to the dealer’s return policy.

Q. Can I exchange for another size, color or style?
A. Only orders made from our stock can be exchanged. You may select another pair from our stock. If the shoe is on back order or you decide to custom order it may take up to 8-12 weeks to produce. Delivery times depend on location so see shipping information above.
